Ethan Murakami is a multidisciplinary designer based in Brooklyn, NY by way of Honolulu, HI.
With a strong foundation in building DTC brands, his work spans digital/content design, ads, marketing, print, packaging, and strategy.
He holds a BFA in Graphic Design alongside a liberal arts concentration in Theory and History of Art and Design (THAD) from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
He is currently thinking about windows, candles, longing, prayer, altars, headboards, love letters, and medieval medicine.

The grocery store serves as a site that focuses heavily on conformity and is examined as a white space through the lens of an Asian American moving within it. The hardware store, on the other hand, is a site upheld by gendered views of masculinity, and is examined through my own troubled relationship with the concept.
