I Found Myself in a __________ is an exploration into the coded structures of social spaces, using the sites of the grocery store and the hardware stores as sites of inquiry.

The grocery store serves as a site that focuses heavily on conformity and is examined as a white space through the lens of an Asian American moving within it. The hardware store, on the other hand, is a site upheld by gendered views of masculinity, and is examined through my own troubled relationship with the concept.
