He is from Honolulu, Hawai‘i, and is currently a junior at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design, as well as a liberal concentration in Theory and History of Art and Design (THAD), with an interest in museum and curatorial studies.

As a queer Asian American, he is interested in the exploration of narrative and storytelling as ways to highlight unheard and underrepresented voices. Being 5,000+ miles away, home, place, and nostalgia have also become common themes in the work that he makes. He has a love for print, working with his hands and getting into the processes of thinking, research, and iteration.
